Comments

Not too many people posting comments these days. I wonder if that means no one is checking this blog (I don't have a hit counter . . . maybe I should?)
Feel free to leave comments, even if they don't necessarily apply to post that they are attached to. I read them all and try to respond with a comment of my own or an email directly back to the commenter.

update: looks like some people do read this blog out there. I'm glad to hear it. I'll keep blogging as close to daily as I can. Thanks for your support.

We're still out here - watching the site almost daily to see what is happing over there. Rick and I were in Vegas last weekend & while it is nice to be there it is also nice to go home. As you know, we are not good gamblers so after about $100 we feel as if we've been had and head to the pool (cali) or arcade (rick). We'll have you know that our XBox is in deep space storage since we no longer have Mr. Bigglesworth to follow around. 'course by the time you get home you'll be so good that we'll just be little moving speed bumps.
Anyway - just so you know we're still thinking about you!

...Earthquake,
I haven't been posting much because I figured you were busy and didn't really have time to read lots of posts. I should have known better! As Kim and Cali said, I keep up on the posts and always enjoy hearing what's going on. You'd be happy to know I tried your "sure bet" Black Jack strategy in Vegas. Albeit it was on the nickle machine, yes machine -- they wanted a whole $5-10 everywherer else. Things were going marvelously at first, but the darn double-down and splitting hands killed me. Better luck next time!

Take Care,
Rick

Bud - we all are checking up on you. There are not a lot of differences between our little "FOB's", but you will get to see that first hand when you get your butt down here and watch Army lose to Navy in Football. Hang in there, keep busy, and time will fly by.... trust me.

DUDE,

I get to check about 2-3 times a week. Cyndi I know checks it ever other day or so. We like to see and hear about what is going on over there and how Sarema and little hunter are doing. We are proud of you and grateful for the sacraifices you guys make over there.

280+ something days and a wakeup.
We look forward to your return.

It was great to talk to you the other night, sorry I couldnt talk long but as you know bad guys are unpredictable and dont keep very good hours. Look at my blog time. In fact I just got in from hooking up some pharmaceutical dispensing wannabees. Think MERCK but only for the Bako area and w/out the benifits...

Take care from sunny Bakersfield.
