Milestone

Picnic
Originally uploaded by Rob Wooldridge.
Sarah rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time on Friday. She was even able to bring her arms up so she can prop up on her elbows. Sarema and I were very excited for her, especially because she's rolling over about 3 months earlier than her brother did. We're hoping her accelerated development continues... (until she's about 10, then we're hoping her development into a bratty teenager slows down)

Sarema gave Hunter this shampoo mowhawk the other night during bath time. He seemed to enjoy it. The profile version of the picture is on my Flickr Account (you can use the handy-dandy link on the right margin to go there now)

iPhone price cut by a third

Ok, so I'm an apple fanboy, but I also support a family of three other people; that's why I didn't run out to get a new iPhone when they came out on my birthday at $600 bucks a pop (oh, an I'd have to switch phone carriers, too).
Now apple has dropped the price to a much more reasonable $400.
We're getting closer.

Segway Snag

With my "considerable" Segway driving experience, maybe I could get a job with a local police department and catch crooks like on my segway this cop in Chicago did.

My mom sent Hunter these PJs because he likes Curious George (he calls the show "Monkey") so much.
Hunter's growing up pretty fast. His language and counting skills are getting a lot better. Sarema is even going to sign him up for 6 hours of preschool per week. We hope this will give him some good socialization skills and give Sarema some quality time with Sarah.
There's some more new pictures of Hunter and Sarah on my flickr account.

New Record

On Sunday, I worked at Skydive Santa Barbara for the first time. The DZ is only 40 minutes away, so it's much easier to travel there and back in one day. By contrast, Hollister is almost 3 hours away now that we live in Arroyo Grande.
It was a heck of a first day. I broke my previous record of 10 work jumps in one day with 9 tandems and 3 video jumps between 9:30am and 5pm. We were doing quick turnarounds and I probably spent less than 10 minutes on the ground between jumps.
