Talk Like a Pirate Day

My pirate name is:

Iron Tom Roberts

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. Two things complete your pirate persona: style and swagger. Maybe a little too much swagger sometimes -- but who really cares? Arr!

Calling Grandma

Hunter speaking
Originally uploaded by Rob Wooldridge.
Here's a picture of Hunter talking with his grandparents. He's wearing his favorite Superman pajamas, too. You can see the two more photos of Hunter that I uploaded on my flickr account.
On another note, I discovered something distressing. While uploading these photos, I busted the (heretofore unknown to me) 200 photo limit of my free flickr account. I've always been stoked with my flickr account when it was free, but $25 a year is pretty spendy for the "pro" version.
Maybe I'll go back to emailing pictures around to everyone.
update: good news. The 200 photo limit is a sliding window so you can only see the last 200 photos uploaded. When flickr "hides" the 201st photo, the 201st picture still appears in my old blog links. So, we'll keep driving on with the freebie!

Words

Hunter's vocabulary has skyrocketed since I returned from Kuwait. Before I returned, he learned to say "Mommy," "Daddy," "Ranger," "bubbles," "Bear," and "puppy."
Now he also says "kitty," "ball," "truck," "plane" (which he learned at the drop zone, of course), "binky," "done," "up," "down," "juice," "please," "thank you," "vroom vroom" and some others I can't remember. He's practically talking up a storm.
Probably the coolest thing he does is something he started doing on his own with no prompting: When you sneeze in front him now, he says "bless you."
