Even though she hates Star Trek, Sarema and I have an inside joke about doomed characters on TV or in movies "putting on a red shirt" before they're killed. I just thought this poster was hilarious. Everybody knows about Yeoman Toast.
The other day, I turned to my fiancé out of nowhere and said, "What was the registration number on the Enterprise?" and he said, "Original series or Next Generation?" When pressed, he said, "NC1701D for Next Generation. Want me to name Spock's father?"
I always knew I was marrying the right man. Thankfully he provides daily proof.
